Newest Dreamit Startups Plan to Reshape Healthcare

Dreamit Health’s ninth cohort is underway with seven startups taking on major healthcare challenges, from using big data analytics to find abnormalities in health conditions to addressing opioid addiction to virtual reality to ease chronic pain. Managing Director and serial entrepreneur Adam Dakin is kicking off the 14-week program at Dreamit’s hub in Philadelphia.

  • Ejenta: Predictive analytics for abnormalities and indicators of chronic conditions
  • Epharmix: Remote patient monitoring using phone calls and texts
  • Macro-Eyes: Machine learning applied to healthcare practice management
  • PAST: SaaS to cross-reference databases to identify patients at risk of opioid addiction and substance abuse
  • SafKan: The first automated and wearable medical device for earwax removal
  • Mahmee: Patient-centric, data-driven platform for post-partum care management
  • Karuna: VR to reduce chronic pain as an alternative to treatment with opioids

The Dreamit Early Admission Program allows founders to expedite the standard application process and secure one of fewer than 50 interview slots more than a month in advance.
